According to the Japan Electronics Industry Association circuit (Japan Electronics Packaging Circuits Association; JPCA) latest statistics show ( with employees in more than 50 companies for statistical object ) , in February 2014 the Japanese printed circuit board (PCB; hard board + board + soft mold group board ) production growth compared to the same month last year by 3.5% to 1.041 million square meters , the second consecutive month to show growth ; yield fell 1.4 percent to 36.884 billion yen , the first time in three months showed decline. On the type of view, February Japanese hard board (Rigid PCB) production growth compared to the same month last year by 5.9% to 864,000 square meters , the fifth consecutive month to show growth ; yield growth of 0.5% to 25.242 billion yen , the third consecutive month showing growth . FPC (Flexible PCB) production fell 8.2 percent to 134,000 square meters , the 16th consecutive month showing decline; yield fell 8.6 percent to 4.19 billion yen , for the first 16 months a downward 15 degrees . Module substrate (Module Substrates) yields decline by 4.4% to 43,000 square meters , the yield fell 3.5 percent to 7.452 billion yen . Cumulative Japanese PCB production growth of 5.4% over last year to 2.098 million square meters during the 2014 January-February , the yield growth of 2.0% to 73.863 billion yen .
