On June 11, the U.S. LED lighting technologies and solutions development and manufacturer Bridgelux announced that it will further expand the Chinese market, increase investment in China. It is reported that, Bridgelux launched a research and development center in Xiamen, as well as applied research laboratory in Shanghai Hongqiao. Meanwhile, Bridgelux and headquartered in Shenzhen LED lighting products manufacturer in Shenzhen Ruifeng power announced that it will join forces for the Chinese market, pushing the use of low-power surface mount technology LED light source new product lines. Data shows that China's LED market in the past decade to achieve rapid growth in the overall market sales of only 2013 LED lamps and lighting equipment of about 320 million, while sales of LED package is more than 80 billion yuan. Bridgelux COO, CFO Tim Lester said the company will expand production scale through increased investment and local, to promote the rapid growth of customers and international markets.
