International Research and consultancy Gartner (Gartner) released the latest forecast, worldwide semiconductor sales in 2014 will reach 338 billion U.S. dollars, compared with 2013 growth of 7.2%, higher than the previous quarter's 6.7% forecast. Jon Erensen ,Gartner research director, said the United States benefited from strong demand for electronic components to prepare festive season, in the third quarter 2014 semiconductor revenue to record highs. DRAM in 2014 to 26.3% of revenue growth leader in the overall semiconductor market, while its revenue is expected to reach a record high of $ 44.1 billion. Due to supply and demand fluctuations, DRAM is still a continuation of the rise and fall of its boom cycle.
