To expedite the development of Shenzhen LED industry and seize the commanding heights of the development of international LED industry, promoting the popularization and application of LED lighting products in Shenzhen City, Shenzhen officially released "LED Industry Development Plan (2009-2015)", "plan for Shenzhen to promote energy efficient Semiconductor lighting (LED) product"and" a number of measures Shenzhen to promote the development of semiconductor lighting industry",attract global LED industry to gather towards Shenzhen and build high-end LED industry chain as national and global important industry R & D base.
According to the requirements of "program" , through the implementation of demonstration projects, they will promote upgrading of lighting products for Shenzhen roads, tunnels, subways, public buildings and other large areas , for 2012, Shenzhen non-trunk lights, tunnel lights basically complete LED lighting transformation, Shenzhen subway station, train all achieves full LED lighting,by 2015, Shenzhen basically completed the transformation for LED lighting trunk lights . The Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center, Universiade and the main stadium will maken as a landmark building with distinctive features of shenzhen.Through the implementation of demonstration projects,shenzhen will promote the development of powerful LED-related products and industries,in 2010, Shenzhen LED-related industry had reached 280 billion yuan for annual output value,by 2015, Shenzhen LED-related industries will reach 130 billion yuan in output value.
For the LED industry, Shenzhen will integrate financial resources and increase financial support. Since 2009,in the next three years, in the R & D, technological progress, intellectual property, standards strategy and expanding domestic and foreign markets, and other special funds, shenzhen will invest 1 billion yuan every year to support the LED industry. They will make the plans of financial subsidies, to encourage units and individuals to use energy-efficient LED lighting products.Shenzhen will encourage LED enterprises to establish R & D center and provide public services for the industry,enhance the level of innovation.
