There are four kinds of capacitors in China, electrolytic capacitors, film capacitors, ceramics capacitors, LMCC. After efforts for many years, the capacitor industry has become more mature. The output of Electrolytic capacitor is about $ 100 billion, we export 30 billion and import 47 billion yuan, the electrolytic capacitors in the domestic market capacity is about 117 billion, the output of film capacitors is about thirty billion, we export 7.2 billion yuan and import 11 billion, market capacity is 330 million.As to the capacitors, we have 60 billion, $ 10 billion for export and $ 60 billion for import, the market capacity is 110 billion yuan. For LMCC, output is about 2,500 billion yuan, 133 billion yuan for export and 240 billion yuan for import,the market capacity is 357 billion yuan. Also, there are more than 270 companies of capacitors registered in China Electronic Components Association excluding non-member,we have many capacitor manufacturers, because our industry is characterized by many manufacturers with small scale.After development of some years, our capacitors have been developed quite rapidly in some areas, such as anti-interference capacitor, we can produce in bulk now.
Compared with famous Murata, Taiyo Yuden, etc, we still have a big gap. Our products are in middle and low level, because the capacitor industry is developed with the development of China's household electrical appliances, and now many of our companies are to develop high-end direction. Particularly after the financial crisis, there is much room to develop and improve for capacitors. A manufacturer should have the below features,the size of plant, equipment, this is so called hard power. Technological innovation, marketing, brand influence, management, financing, systems integration capability are soft power. Because our industry started relatively late, so some respects are not well handled.Because of no enough attentions to soft power,it leads a situation of capacitors, so big but not strong. This is what we have to improve.
We should improve the innovative capability and change the development model.For example,electrolytic capacitor, we now have the direction of the public, China is also capable of producing the public nature of the level capacitors.China's business should develop towards western areas, because of the global energy, environmental pressures.China is to expand domestic demand to meet the financial crisis, we also note that forward-looking development of the industry, because the components are not used directly by people, it is developed through the whole development.
