Recently, two rivers areas in Chongqing won in the competition with other more than 20 industrial parks  from Asian countries and attracted Europe's largest printed circuit board manufacturer, AT & S Austria (Austria Technology and Systems Co., Ltd.) Group to locate in Industrial Park between Two Rivers Yufu . Austrian Ambassador,Se Dike, Mayor Anticipation, Municipal Committee, director of the CMC , Jieming Weng attended the signing ceremony yesterday. AT & S plans to invest $ 620 million to produce high-end printed circuit board. This project is a one-time largest industrial project investmented by Australia in China, after an annual production, value is up to 30 billion yuan which will help 4,000 persons solve jobs.
Qifang Huang said at the signing ceremony,two rivers is now focused on creating "hundreds of billions of electronic city", plans include search and manufacturing of semiconductor,electronic information development, and manufacturing high-end smart home appliances, automotive electronics and other industries, electronic information industry chain.The success of the project settled on two rivers formed a complete industrial zone electronic information industry chain which has an important significance to create "hundreds of billions of electronic city" and improve electronic information industry in Chongqing.
The CEO of AT & S Austria Group, Simai Ge said that AT& S Group has six factories in Europe, India, America and Shanghai at present. With the the high-speed growth of global smart phones, tablet PCs, as well as high-end automotive electronics and the new demands of laptop, AT& S considers it is necessary to expand production capacity of HDI and use the latest technologies to meet market demand. "From the end of last year, our project team visited more than 20 in Asia Industrial Park," Gesi Mai said. In January 2011, I came to Chongqing with group board members, and the city left a deep impression .We made a choice in a very short period of time. The reason chose Chongqing include extensive high-level human resources, information integrity and huge industrial chain and two New River Development potential. As a result, AT & S selected the world's first seven factories in Chongqing, located in Two Rivers District.
