On the one hand, PCB manufacturers may save other costs to ease the pressure of raw materials; the other hand, they will not accept orders,PCB enterprises is bound to face closure or merger situation, then screen printing companies will be affected.
However, such the problems of raw materials are unexpected,Copper foil, fiberglass cloth and CCL are rising in prices, especially international copper prices directly affect prices of copper and copper foil substrate bullish in domestic. CCL is the direct raw materials of PCB, copper accounts for the largest proportion of the raw materials, accounting for 30% of the cost of CCL (plate) and 50% (thin), so the prices of copper are main driving force of price of CCL.In the upstream and downstream industry chain, suppliers of raw material have leading position in the transaction, besides,the supply is less than demand for raw materials in markets, the pressure of rising costs is passed on directly to the PCB manufacturers. The arrival of 2011 does not make PCB manufacturers happy as other suppliers,because they will continue to experience regular off-season in the first quarter.
At present, PCB industry enters into difficult situation, in fact, there was also such a situation in 2009, especially in the second quarter of 2009, orders for PCB are reduced. Nowadays, PCB industry seems to have the same problem, but the difference is raw materials become the most critical issue which makes many enterprises face closure or merger.In other words, the whole industry will face the situation of a re-integration.We can not predict how many companies can survive from the restructuring of the industry brought about by rising raw material, but it is true the PCB industry will continue to develop, it is an indisputable fact.
