Panasonic's Panasonic electronic components (PanasonicElectronicDevices) announced that, due to favorable demand for smart phones will be showed a significant growth, so the company will invest 17 billion yen in Vietnam to build a printed circuit board (PCB) new plant for smart phone(hereinafter referred to as Vietnam Factory).Panasonic said the plant will produce their own developed multi-layer PCBs(AnyLayerInterstitialViaHole),it is expected that they will begin volume production in August 2012, monthly capacity will be of 3.5 million units (the number of smartphone units conversion; hereinafter the same) .Vietnam will become the second production bases of ALIVH for Panasonic at overseas(currently only one in Taiwan).Panasonic just announced on May 16 of this year, not only to plan to build factory of ALIVH in Taoyuan County Block B ,Taiwan, they will also amplify the production capacity of existing factory in Taiwan (located in xinbei city) ,their goal is to increase monthly production capacity in taiwan in 2011 to the scale of 600 million units, equivalent to four times of the current (refer to the actual capacity of 2010,1.5 million units). It is to be completed in the mass production factory in Vietnam,after that, overseas ALIVH monthly production capacity of Panasonic will be expanded to the 6 time of current,equal to 9.5 million units.At present, ALIVH monthly capacity of Panasonic in Japan is 8.5 million , and it is estimated in 2012 the production levels will remain the same.ALIVH is the world's first developed by Panasonic to achieve full-thickness IVH (InterstitialViaHole) multi-layer PCB construction products, and in October 1996,it was used for the first time on board of the Matsushita Electric Industrial (now Panasonic) phone manufacturing, until in march in 2011,the world's total shipments exceeded 400 million units. |
