Because of the negative impact, Merrill Lynch revises forecast of growth for the global television this year,the TV industry this year no longer has double-digit shipment growth, even decline 3% than last year, in 2012 it will have shown zero growth. The LCD and TV market Which rank the mainstream, the growth rate this year is only 4% and 7%.The industry analyst at Merrill Lynch,Dongji Yu said the reasons leading to low demand of global TV market include the overall economic slowdown, but also the high penetration of TV market saturation, lack of disruptive technology, substitution effect of smart phones and the tablet PC, and so on. Dongji Yu forecasts, the global shipments of LCD, plasma, the traditional CRT, and OLED TV this year is 241 million units, compared with 2.48 million units last year,it has decline about 3%, then zero growth next year, up to 2.57million units in 2013, annual growth rate is about 7%.Which ranks the mainstream consumer market are LCD and TV, from this year the growth rate is down to single digit, from 2011 to 2013, annual rate of shipments will be 4% , 7%, 9%.LEDTV and 3DTV is a meteoric rise, growing rapidly.The forecast of LEDTV shipments this year  is 0.86 million units, up to 143 million units next year, annual growth rate is 66%; it wil be 1.91 million units in 2013, the market penetration will be increased to 67% next year from 44% this year,in 2013 it will be 83%.From the perspective of the branded plant ,the current Japanese manufacturers have demand far away from expected, Sony, Sharp, Panasonic, etc., are more conservative on the industry outlook; Korean plant is also expected to keep the flat level in the third quarter, only Samsung is estimated to have outstanding performance.In addition, although the recent TV is only slightly higher than normal inventory performance,but the demand remains weak, the inventory issue will be highly regarded late in the fourth quarter.
