Orders of semiconductor plant in the fourth quarter have finally been finalized, both the wafer fab and packaging and testing plant, only the related orders with Apple iPhone4S and iPad3 to be launched early next year are in good condition, related chip orders of apple in fourth quarter have increased by 10% to 20% to the average compared with the third quarter . The low-cost smart phone, Android  Enthusiastically participated in the recent market and other flat chip orders, the demand is not only strong as previously expected, the order from late November to the end of year also appears the phenomenon of frozen,which suprises the semiconductor industry.The fourth quarter each year is off-season of semiconductor market, this year is no exception. Affected by credit from the EU and the U.S. economic slowdown and other issues, even the third quarter is not busy season, 4th quarter, , is not short off-season not because of the low base period in 3rd quarter, in terms of moment,the revenue of wafer foundries and seal testing plant in the fourth quarter were approximately 5% decline compared with the third quarter, and orders related with a computer or cell phone (featurephone) meet presure of cut orders.But even a promising market of smart phones and tablet computer market ,not everyone has the candy. Equipment industry and retailers who have recently pointed out, whether by TSMC or UMC's first quarter orders, or by the ASE, SPIL, King Yuan Electronics and other packaging and testing plant order, in the fourth quarter only Apple-related chip orders grew more than 1 percent compared with the third quarter,the rest of the mobile device chip orders are weak, the order in late November to the end of the year has no visibility.the A5 processors , 800 million pixel CMOS image sensor, dual-mode baseband chips applicated in Apple iPhone4S,chip suppliers have expanded to release orders since September, including substrate plant Kinsus, electronic packaging and testing plant with Yan , foundries TSMC and PSC etc. The orders of iPad3 chip from Apple in next year  have also been released, so Apple supply chain at the fourth quarter is better than the industry.
