To better understand the use of smart phone for the global users,earlier this year, Google and IPSOSResearch jointly conducted a related study, this is the first large scale investigation about how people use mobile phones. The object of this research covers as many countries and populations, involving 30,000 respondents from 30 countries. According to research report released this week, in China's urban areas, development of smart phones is very prominent in the worldwide, and not only the user's habits, but also the contribution to the development of mobile Internet, China is far more than Japan and South Korea even started smart phones very early .The survey results show that smart phones are very popular in Chinese cities in recent years. At present, China has become one of the world's five largest cities with the highest mobile phone penetration rate, up to 35%,only ranks after Singapore (62%) and Australia (37%). In terms of respondents in domestic, one of every three people who have two or more mobile phones, this ratio is the highest in the Asia Pacific region. Meanwhile, in China's urban areas, proportion to have the smart phone for more than one year is 64% which is the highest in the Asia Pacific region, even more than South Korea and Japan.On a global scale, China's urban smart phone users create amazing record one after another.53% of them are planning to spend more time using smart mobile Internet (this ratio is even more than the United States), the number of people using smart phones to read proportion is 32%, and the proportion to purchase triggered online store for mobile advertising is 32%,which all ranks first in the world.These records are the natural result of China's huge potential consumer market.
