If the European debt problem is no longer deteriorating, and smart phones, tablet computers, personal computers and other end products continues to grow, global semiconductor in 2012 will still have 3% to 5% growth.This year Taiwan's semiconductor industry is affected by reduction of production from dynamic random access memory (DRAM) factory, weak performance  of IC design industry,besides,with 311 major earthquake in Japan, the European debt crises are frequent,it is estimated annual output is 1.52 trillion which has decline of about 6%.However, the overall semiconductor next year should not be like all the way down as this year , the main end-use applications,including smart phones, tablet computers, notebook computers and personal computers, will keep growing next year, pushing up the overall semiconductor industry growth 3 % to 5%, but the premise is to maintain the growth of European debt problems do not worsen.In terms of individual in the semiconductor industries, the foundry is still performed better next year, the Taiwan plants will remain strong TSMC and UMC dual situation, but TSMC is leading, but after Samsung and grid Luofang De join ,transformation with other DRAM foundry, not only the 2X-nanometer high-end,but also mature 65/40 nanometer, are faced with different levels of competition.As for the DRAM industry, it isi miserable this year, next year it will not be very good, although DRAM prices are likely to exit due to some manufacturers, cut or restructure and recovery.Because Taiwan's IC design industry cuts into the mainstream relatively late,generally with poor performance, but the continent as well as the rise of local brands semiconductor, the domestic IC industry remain a potential business opportunity.
