STMicroelectronics Introduces the dual-core gyro L3G4IS which is of function to handle identification and the camera image stabilization ,innovative system architecture allows equipment manufacturers to need a gyro to perform two different functions to optimize mobile phones, tablet computers, smart consumer electronics size, system complexity and cost.The vice president and product manager of analog products, MEMS and sensor in STMicroelectronics corporate, Benedetto Vigna said: "With the new ST gyroscope innovative dual-core system architecture, equipment manufacturers simply need a gyroscope identify and action the two image stabilization feature, no longer to use two different specifications of special sensors, the end product thus can achieve more reliable performance, even a slim, stylish design and lower manufacturing costs. "ST's new gyroscopes L3G4IS is for the design of power limitations from battery-powered portable equipment, integration, and shut down two power-saving sleep mode, built-in advanced intelligent power management required first in first out (FIFO) memory modules . New sensors output data via two independent communications interface, I2C and SPI, it also provides multiple digital embedded features such as configurable low pass / high pass filter. The new gyroscope built-in temperature sensor, power supply voltage range is from 2.4V to 3.6V.The test samples of dual-core gyro from STMicroelectronics L3G4IS have been listed. |
