According to statistics released by market research firm, ICInsights, IC revenues from the North American supplier account for 53% of the overall IC in 2011,market shares of IC manufacturers in North America are also growing. ICInsights's report shows that in 2011 IC manufacturers of surpassed Japan for the first time to become the second region with largest market share of the overall IC; at the same time, China's IC industry's market share has grown.
