The eucalyptus manager of market research firm ,DIGITIMESResearch,Kangpei Xu pointed out that the world's largest memory maker Samsung Electronics has reduction in revenue of NAND FLASH at fourth quarter of 2011 affected by major customers Apple (AAPL) transfered most orders to Hynix, however,revenue of DRAM increased slightly which made the NANDFlash accounted for 38% of their company's memory revenues, the share in the Global NANDFlash proportion revenues continued to be 34.6%.On the other hand, Hynix, its NANDFlash share of their company revenues remained at 30 percent, accounting for Global NANDFlash proportion of revenues increased to 13.7%. But from the perspective of profitability, Xu Kangpei said, the average selling price of Samsung NANDFlash1Gb (ASP) is still $ 0.15 ,the proportion of 27 nanometers, coupled with 21-nanometer process technology accounting for NANDFlash yield is over 50%,to further reduce costs, so that the operating profit margin of its NANDFlash should still be 35%. NANDFlashASP of Hynix is estimated that only $ 0.11, the proportion of 26-nanometer process technology is more than 75 percent, but the more advanced 20-nanometer process technology is expected to start bulk production at the first quarter of 2012 , cost reduction is far from the Samsung, it is estimated that Hynix NANDFlash business interests nly maintained about 17%.
