According to the latest statistical data released by Japan Electronics Packaging Circuits Association(JPCA), in January of 2012 Japanese printed circuit board production fell 5.3 percent to 1.384 million square meters compared to same month of last year,it has decline for 17 consecutive months,the yield has declient about 8.5% to ¥ 51.432 billion which also has 17 consecutive months of recession.In terms of the types for PCBs,the yield of Japanese hard board (RigidPCB) in January has declient about 3.3 percent to 91.8 million square meters, the yield reduction is from 11.4% to ¥ 31.931 billion,both are the 16th month downward. The output of FPC (FlexiblePCB) has a growth of 6.6 percent to 37.4 million square meters,which has the third consecutive month showing growth; yield has increased 0.9 percent to 6.786 billion yen which shows growth for two months. The output of the module substrate (ModuleSubstrates) has declient about 43.2% year-on-year to 9.2 million square meters, the yield reduction is from 5.5 percent to 12.715 billion yen.
