Intel Capital has jointed Xilinx to invest EDA for startup Oasys, but the specific amounts are not disclosed.Oasys mainly provides physical synthesis tool for more than 20 million IC, the round of financing will be used primarily to expand its development team as well as global support.The commerce program director of technical department in Intel design,Shishpal Rawat points out in a statement that the Oasys technology has the potential strength for the next generation of chip design into a new way of thinking, ultra-LSI design flow may change.Oasys claimed his RealTimeDesigner is the first too to transfer one hundred million level physical, he can get better outcomes than traditional logic and the running time is much shorter. Learned from the company ,RealTime Designer has a unique function of register-transfer level unit display which can eliminate design closure process between synthesis and layout .The current customers of Oasys includes TI, Qualcomm and Xilinx. |
