Market research firm ,Gartner estimates, the consumption of semiconductor components, in 2012 IN the Indian market will be the world's fastest growing one, the amount is $ 9.2 billion, a growth of 20% compared to 2011.Impetus for economic growth of India's consumption of semiconductor components is from the local population, the increase in consumer income to enhance economic growth and favorable official policy,director of Gartner research,Ganesh Ramamoorthy pointed out that the global electronic equipment manufacturers continue to expand its manufacturing base in India, such as the recent mobile phone maker, Nokia intends to move factory to the Asia-Pacific region, so it will be beneficial to India; Nokia already has a large manufacturing bases in India.As a result, India's consumption of semiconductor components will be fast-growing .Gartner forecast, in 2012 global semiconductor spending will reach $ 316 billion, compared to 2011 it increases 4%; including mobile phones, tablet devices, the PC, server, LCD TV, solid state hard drive (SSD) with the set-top boxes device applications, it is estimated it will account for nearly half of global semiconductor consumption. In India, mobile phones, PC and LCD TV products,account for three-quarters of the 2012 local semiconductor consumption.Because of the strong economic growth in India, local people increase wishes to consume,it is expected 2012 will become a record year for semiconductor consumption in India.Ramamoorthy said.
