According to foreign media's reports, Samsung announced on Friday, they have acquired low-power Wi-Fi chip Swedish manufacturer, Nanoradio.The Nanoradio Website shows this chip can be used for smart phones, tablet PCs, mobile game consoles, portable media players, data, cameras and electronic reader products. This makes the transaction looks very suitable for Samsung, because Samsung produces most of these types of products.Jeff Brady Vail (GeoffBlaber,), an analyst at market research firm, CCSInsight mobile device software, said that if the Samsung integrates Nanoradio technology into its own chip products,then they  will be able to extend the life of the Samsung smartphones and Tablet PCs. The more Nanoradio technology integration,the more efficient Samsung products may become.Brady Vail said the transaction is the acquisition of an engineering talents. Samsung rarely make acquisitions, the transaction is of significance.U.S. market research firm ,Dell'Oro said last week that the whole revenue of the wireless LAN market in the first quarter of this year has an increase of 18%, this part is driven by the 29% annual growth in the enterprise market. Dell'Oro analyst, Chris Depp (ChrisDePuy,) said that with the advent of high-speed 802.11ac devices, combined operators actively deploying Wi-Fi in order to meet the needs of mobile users, which makes the wireless LAN industry has entered an exciting era.Samsung did not announce the amount of the transaction and the acquisition of the grounds of Nanoradio.
