According to DRAMeXchange survey,research department of global market research Organization, TrendForce, due to some performance at the end of quarter and demand is still far as expected, in late May the mainstream NANDFlash's contract price fell by about 6-9%, short-term market and price will be subject to the following factors.At the end of quarter effects of manufacturer and semi-annual report will deepen concerns of short-term price decline:the European debt crisis and the Greek political and economic troubles continued to affect the global economy, coupled with the rise of cloud storage services, flash memory card market conditions remained weak, plus a large number of system products have delayed shipment, in short-term,customers are affected by price decline, significant reservations about the potential of the inventory value, and therefore less obvious force of the peak effect to cover inventory.By the new processor platform and the time-delayed new models listed, the peak demand of terminal system will be deferred until the third quarter.Therefore, subject to various external overall economic environment and changes in the industry, TrendForce thinks in short term the mainstream NANDFlash's contract price will maintain a situation of slow down, demand is expected to start a quarterly basis since the third quarter of heating. |
