The Taiwan Institute for Information Industry ,MIC estimates, this year Taiwan semiconductor's overall output is up to NT $ 1.54 trillion, overall semiconductor output growth rate will be greater than the global industry average, in the second half Taiwan's foundry and IC design industry growth is relatively obvious. The industry consultant and Deputy Director of MIC, Chunhui Hong estimates, global semiconductor market this year will be amounted to $ 306.1 billion, the growth rate of about 2.2%; the performance of Taiwan's semiconductor industry due to the foundry industry is expected to continue to grow, the overall output growth rate will be greater than the global average industry growth of 6% compared to 2011, output value is NT $ 1.54 trillion. From the global semiconductor market,Chunhui estimates that under the sales slowdown in the overall end-use applications products, the global semiconductor market this year will be flat or grow slightly rebound compared with 2011,in the first quarter the global semiconductor market this year has turned the corner, performance at the second half is expected to better than the first half.From the point of the semiconductor industry in Taiwan, Chunhui estimates, this year's first quarter is generally poor, a strong rebound in the second quarter due to inventory covering ,it is estimated at the second half of the growth of Taiwan foundries and IC design industry is relatively obvious.
