Since 2009, LED lighting market has rapid development, coupled with the pushing by Chinese government's energy-saving subsidies, manufacturers have large-scale amplification of the upstream LED chip production capacity, since 2011 there are approximately 420 new MOCVD machine, switchboard is up to 720 units, but the economy is unknown and the talent is in shortage, availability is only half, this year LED industry has recovery, industry insiders forecast that overcapacity situation of middle and low LED chip is still unable to ease next year. Since 2010 actively expanding production capacity, however,driven by weaker demand for LED industry 2011, together with the global economy is also affected by the impact of the debt crisis in Europe, government subsidies are in interruption, in 2011, in China new MOCVD machines are reduced to 420 units from the estimated 700 units. It is estimated that the whole of China MOCVD machine is a total of 720 units, however, limited by the lack of boom and talent, the MOCVD boot number is about 510 units, the boot was only half this year, the take-off of the LED lighting market, the recovery demand enable manufacturers once again to think of strategy for the the MOCVD boot and amplification capacity.
