The Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) announced in may of 2012 three month moving average of sales in global semiconductor is reported $ 24.39 billion, compared with $ 24.07 billion in the previous month (3 month moving average) rose 1.4 percent for the third consecutive months ,showed a monthly increase since September 2010, the longest record growth; but fell 3.4 percent compared with $ 25.24 billion in May 2011. In May all the major markets around the world showed mixed three month moving average sales , Asia-Pacific was increased by 3.1%, Europe was increased by 0.8%. Global semiconductor sales from March to May of 2012 were 24.39 billion U.S. dollars, grew 6.4 percent compared with $ 22.92 billion from December 2011 to February 2012, the largest increase since June 2010. The increase in the Asia-Pacific region is ranking crown, quarter by 10.5%. The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index rose 1.43 percent (5.51 points), to close at 390.30 points, a record closing high since May 14.
