Although the LED industry is facing quite a lot of uncertainty factors in the second half of 2012, however, the Korean LED manufacturer, Seoul Semiconductor and upstream LED chip subsidiary, Seoul Optodevice Company (hereinafter referred to as SOC) are optimistic at third quarter of 2012,it is estimated revenue quarter growth rate are 4.7 to 14.2%, 2.8 to 7.4%, revenues are 220 billion to 2,400 billion won (about 195 million $ 213 million) and 67 billion to 70 billion won, operating profit rates are 4 to 6%, 7 to 11 percent, Seoul Semiconductor Group industry has stable revenue growth. From the applications, at the first quarter of 2012 Lighting proportion of related applications from semi Seoul Semiconductor are 3 to 4 percent, LED TV is from 25 to 37 percent; relative proportion of the, SOC lighting class of applications is approximately between 3 to 4 percent, and the remaining is display with backlight part. Lighting and LED TV backlighting are the main sources of revenue for Seoul Semiconductor in 2012,  so in 2012 product line layout is based on this two types.In other aspects of the LED TV applications, Seoul Semiconductor owners push low-cost direct LED TV backlighting components, the proportion of half of such products in 2012 account for 40% of LED TV revenue, they have customers throughout the display industry in Asia, including South Korea, China, Japan, Taiwan and other regions, it is estimated that in 2012 at the first three quarters revenue quarter growth rate of LEDTV Application will reach 2 digits.
