ICInsight pointed out, in the next 10 years shipments compound annual growth rate of IC is not strong as in the past 15 years, but the unit price of IC will be relatively steady ,output value is expected to drive the continued increase, it is estimated from 2011 to 2021 annual average unit price and the growth rate will be slightly upward by 1%, the volume of compound annual growth rate is 7%, a total from 2011 to 2021, the compound annual growth rate of the IC market size will reach 8%, up to $ 573.8 billion or more in 2021. ICInsight said that, despite the global economic chaos unknown, as well as the improvement of the production process to enhance barriers,in the next 10 years, IC shipments kinetic energy is not as good as the past 15 years , the estimated total global chip shipments will grow to 380 billion in 2021 from 192.7 billion in 2011, a compound annual growth rate is about 7% ,weaker than compound annual growth rate of 9.5% over the past 15 years (1996-2011). However, ICInsight has firmed up signs can be seen in the average unit price rising,due to the increase in the number of single-chip,it is estimated ASP will gradually rise to $ 1.51 in 2021 from $ 1.37 in 2011 the (each tablet IC), the annual compound growth rate is about 1.51%; over the past 15 years, the compound annual growth rate of the average unit price is -4%. ICInsight forecasts IC production value of the annual compound growth rate is stable over the past 15 years, driven by the steady trend of ASP, it is estimated to grow to $ 573.8 billion from $ 264 billion in 2011, a compound annual growth rate of about 8%.
