The market research firm, Nano Markets released a report on the OLED lighting materials market, the report predicted the OLED lighting materials will be more than 1.3 billion U.S. dollars in revenue in 2018, OLED lighting will be widely applied to the general lighting market. And functional OLED materials (including emitter material, the main materials, barrier materials, transport materials, as well as injection material) ,the current market share is only $ 1.7 million, in 2019 it could grow to more than $ 1.1 billion. The machinability of small molecule OLED materials market value will reach nearly $ 400 million in 2019, its growth also will contribute to the decline in the cost of OLED lighting. OLED lighting applications package, in 2012 it is less than one million U.S. dollars,but in excess of $ 50 million in 2015, to reach $ 450 million in 2019. 95% of OLED lighting applications is used in specialty lighting, such as luxury lamps,in 2019, however, 80% of the OLED lighting materials will be used for residential and commercial lighting applications which, another 18% will be used for automotive lighting. It is estimated in 2019 total OLED lighting materials market value will be $ 2.8 billion. |
