The IEKITIS plans to release Retrospect and Prospect of Taiwan-based IC packaging and testing industry in the semiconductor industry at Q4, according to IEK, it is expected at the Q4 output value of packaging and testing output value will reach 69.7 billion yuan and 311 billion, respectively with the support of Apple, Samsung and China brand factory , compared with Q3 it has decline quarter by 1.4% and 1.6%. According to statistics of IEK,at Q3 Taiwan-based IC packaging and testing industry output value is 102.3 billion yuan, including packaging production value of 707 billion yuan, a quarter by 2%, the test output value is 316 billion yuan, a quarter by 2.3%. IEK pointed out at Q3 Taiwan-based IC packaging and testing industry's growth rate this year is far from expected, mainly due to customer inventory adjustments, under repair orders ,the Windows8 shipped Deferred causes weaker PC demand, the DRAM production is cut and other multiple factors, so that the IC packaging and testing Factory at Q3 should lack revenue growth momentum in the peak season, although the mobile phone and tablet computer application chips are still growing strength, but the growth rate is lower than the previous assessment. According to IEK,at Q4 of this year, Taiwan's IC packaging and testing industry output value of the single-season will amount to NT $ 69.7 billion yuan and 31.1 billion yuan, compared with this year's Q3 a slight decline of 1.4% and 1.6%. It is worth noting, however, benefiting from the blessing of the chip seal measurement of mobile communications applications, IC packaging and testing industry at the Q4 output value quarter will be better than the original decline of 6.1% of the IC design industry. From the perspective of 2012 full year , IEK thinks although the European debt crisis showed signs of abating, but the growth of the global economy has adversely affected ,the smart phone and tablet computer have excellent growth , but the overall economic still has uncertainty,PC industry buying is appetite, annual growth performance of IC packaging and testing industry was dampened. According to IEK, in 2012 Annual Taiwan packaging and testing industry output value amounted to NT $ 271.7 billion yuan and 121.3 billion yuan, the annual growth rate is estimated to be 0.8% and 0.4%. |
