According to reports of foreign media, market research firm, IDC released a report to predict that for expected 5.7% increase in global IT spending next year,more than of half is from smart phones, tablet PCs and e-reader sales. IDC predicts that mobile device sales will account for 57% of the IT growth next year. If there are no mobile devices, IT spending growth next year will be only 2.9%, a considerable global GDP growth. In 2013, the global mobile device sales will reach $ 431 billion, an increase of 20% this year. Mobile devices will account for 20% of global IT spending, global IT spending next year will be $ 2.1 trillion. Mobile devices will be eating into PC sales. IDC predicts, Internet access through mobile devices by 2015, U.S. consumers will be the first time more than a PC.In 2016, the United States will have 225 million PC users, mobile devices will reach 265 million. IDC predicts that in 2013 8 inches Tablet PC sales will have strong growth in small Tablet PC ,Tablet PC shipments will increase from 33% in 2012, increased to 60%. Small tablet PCs, including the Apple iPad Mini, Amazon Kindle, Google (microblogging) Nexus 7 and Barnes & Noble's Nook, etc.. IDC also predicts that small tablet computer, and a price of $ 200 -400 $ will give rise to a trend, that the schools will use the Tablet PC to replace textbooks. IDC analyst, Frank Gines said in an interview, the smaller, cheaper tablet PCs will be widely used in areas such as healthcare. IDC also warned that Microsoft and RIM needs to attract more developers and applications for their platform in 2013, to avoid their platform is gradually disappearing. Gines said, "Microsoft is struggling, launched the Surface Tablet PC, and a partnership with Nokia, but its time is running out, as we pointed out, Microsoft and RIM in the mobile market in 2013 will determine on destiny.
