PCB manufacturer, Unimicron Electronics, the Unitech and Compeq expect the Flex PCB demand (especially from the smartphone application market) will have the momentum for further growth in 2013. Insiders said that overall revenue in the third quarter of 2012 of Unitech, rigid-flex plate sales accounted for 20%,a rise compared to the ratio of 15% in the previous few quarters,showing growth in demand for rigid-flex board . Compeq factories in Taiwan and mainland China are capable of the production of rigid-flex PCB ,but Rigid-Flex PCB accounted for only 2-3% of the overall sales, however, demand has been the rise of rigid-flex board. The primary production business of Yu Huan (T-FlexTechvestPCB) is rigid-flex board, which has been reflected in its operating income in October compared to September surged 74.5 percent to reach NT $ 82.92 million (about U.S. $ 2.85 million),  the highest record since eight months . Insiders pointed out that, although Yu Huan Technology had a loss of NT $ 9 million at third quarter , but in the fourth quarter and throughout 2012, they are expected to turn around.
