Global Semiconductor Alliance (GSA) today released a report on the status of the "2012 China's IC design industry. The estimated global proportion of the IC design industry in China will reach 13.61% this year, the output value reached 68 billion yuan, year-on-year increase of 8.98%. This report is a survey conducted by the China Semiconductor Industry Association, the integrated circuit design branch chairman ,Wei Shaojun. GSA survey, China's IC design industry in 2012 accounted for 13.61 percent of the global IC design industry. While the overall size is still relatively small, but in the long-term China's huge domestic market as well as the potential to have a large number of engineering talent has attracted global attention. GSA Statistics, the IC design industry sales are forecasted to reach 68 billion yuan (more than $ 10.8 billion) this year, year-on-year increase of 8.98%. Despite the global semiconductor market today face many challenges in the coming years, China will play an important role in affecting the growth of the global market. GSA emphasized increased to enter the the "Hou Moer era of uncertainty with the semiconductor industry technology roadmap definition has become increasingly blurred.
