According to Japan's electronic circuit Industries Association (JapanElectronicsPackagingCircuitsAssociation;, JPCA) ,(in the number of employees in enterprises with more than 50 objects), in November 2012, printed circuit board (PCB; hard board + FPC) production declined by 10.3% to 1.314 million square meters, compared to the same month last year, fell for the third consecutive month; production fell 12.3% to 43.815 billion yen, fell for the fourth consecutive month. Japanese PCB production accumulated from January to November 2012 compared to the same period last year a growth of 0.2% to 1,548.0 million square meters, the production volume declined by 2.9 percent to 5,402.69 billion yen. In terms of the types,in Nov. hard board (RigidPCB) production compared to the same month last year fell 10.7% to 891,000 square meters, fell for three months in a row; yield fell 17.4% to 27.29 billion yen, for the fourth consecutive month a downward. FPC (FlexiblePCB) production fell 7.1% to 36.5 million square meters, to end with 4 months of growth; yield fell 0.6 percent to 6.922 billion yen, fell 2 degrees to 3 months. Module substrate (ModuleSubstrates) production declined by 20.3% to 5.9 million square meters, production fell 3.6% to 9.603 billion yen. Accumulated hard board production in Japan in January-November 2012 compared to the same period last year grew 2.0% to 1,058.9 million square meters, the production volume declined by 4.2 percent to 3,446.95 billion yen; soft board production had a growth of 7.9% to 4.18 million square meters, yield growth 6.0% to 76.008 billion yen; the module substrate production declined by 40.0% to 713,000 square meters, the production volume declined by 4.3 percent to 1,195.66 billion yen.
