PricewaterhouseCoopers in Shanghai released the 2012 semiconductor market - China's new forces, "the report pointed out that the semiconductor industry in Mainland China has more than 10 times output growth in the past two years than the global.  Report data shows that from 2010 to 2012, the total semiconductor consumption market in China grew from $ 132 billion to $ 151.2 billion, an increase of 14.6%; output value of China's semiconductor industry in the past two years, an increase from $ 381 billion to $ 435 billion an increase of 14.4%. During the same period, the global semiconductor industry grows from $ 298.3 billion to $ 299.5 billion, an increase of only 0.4%.  The report said China's semiconductor consumption market growth rate , 14.6% makes its share in the global market reach a record 47%. This growth rate than expected due to the important position of China in the production of smart phones and tablet PCs.  The report also pointed out that the export market has become the main driving force for the development of China's semiconductor market, 63% of China's domestic consumption of semiconductor products used in the assembly of finished parts, and for export to other countries.  In 2003, the total spending of the Chinese semiconductor market share of global share is less than 19%, and in 2011, total spending in the global share is more than 47%. 10 years from 2001 to 2011, the compound annual growth rate of China's semiconductor industry has reached 24%. The report argues that the growth rate of China's semiconductor consumption market has been able to go beyond the global market, there are the two driving factors: First, the global electronic equipment production is continuously transferred to the Chinese share of global production, China's production of electronic equipment products / Chinese production of these products, the proportion of semiconductor parts is 25%, while the global average is of 20%. Secondly, the influence of the Chinese domestic market is also growing. 24% compound annual growth rate from 2003, the value of semiconductor components for consumption in the domestic sales of finished products, the domestic semiconductor market in nearly 20% of the global share. The report cites the most industry analysts predict that in the next five years, the production of electronic products in China will continue to grow in the global share.
